Here are some pictures from today that feature more contrast between her tiny body and our large appendages! Today we also got some great shots of her eyes open.

Today we brought Nicki home from the hospital. Last night Annie was taken off the c-pap and put on the nasal canula at 21% with 3 liters of pressure. They had to up that during the day to 24% with still 3 liters, so not much change there. She is handling it very well. Her billiruben count has gone up a bit to about 9.6 so that merited TWO tanning salon lights. Today Annie spent some good time on her stomach, so her tan will be even around her body :).

It was hard to go home without Annie but we feel very confident in those wonderful nurses and doctors of the UofU NICU. It was sort of sad to say goodbye to all of the amazing staff members of the Mother's Special Care unit. We have grown close to many of them over the last several weeks. We are so grateful for good people who love their work and excel at it too.

So, now we move into the phase of being home, caring for four kids here and staying connected to a kid up there! This should bring much fun and excitement.
